The Garland of Shri Swamiji's one hundred and eight names was composed separately by two different devotees in bhava samadhi. There are some differences between the two lists of mantras or names of worship to His Holiness. This list is the one from Shri Swamiji's native region, Andhra Pradesh, where in Adivarapupeta children are taught to memorise this wonderful prayer. The garland of 108 names is regularly chanted at Shri Swamiji's ashrams.
Credits. The corrections, translations and explanations are through the help of Dr. D. Sivarajeshwari Devi, Mr. D. Jagadish Kumar, Dr. P. N. Murthy, and Sri Shrinivasa Diksheetar (now known as Baba Shiva Rudra Balayogi).
Two recordings
Shiva Rudra Balayogi version. Recorded during daily puja at the Dehradun ashram in 1994. The Garland is sung by Srinivasa Dikshitar, who later sat for five years of meditation and is now known as Baba Shiva Rudra Balayogi.
Bhajan Bhakti version. The version recorded for the fourth (Puja) CD of the Bhajan Bhakti collection.
